The iBRIC Experience

Testimonials

The iBRIC program is a great experience to get your feet wet as an interdisciplinary scientist. Since the management of big data in an interdisciplinary manner is a large demand ability in the near future, iBRIC gives all the tools and experience needed to learn how to be a successful scientist.

Having iBRIC be my first experience in research helped a lot in clearing a lot of the misconceptions I had about research in the first place. By providing me with tools while I worked on my project, I felt like I had a strong sense of direction in my research and now feel motivated to continue the project when I get back to my own college.

I've always been a fan of Systems Biology, but before this experience, I was just a Biologist that "Studied Life.” After iBRIC, I stand out from the crowd due to my newly acquired interdisciplinary knowledge in Biomedical Informatics and I feel ready to be a part of this rapidly growing field.

IBRIC has been an amazing experience, I have manage to apply theoretical knowledge in real data and be able to contribute to the scientific community from just a couple of weeks work.

This program provides an amazing summer experience. Dr. Boone is awesome.
