Application Process:

  • The online application is open for the 2020 session. Apply at: https://apply-intern.dbmi.pitt.edu/
  • The application deadline is to be advised for 2021
  • 2020 session to be advised.

Who is Eligible?

  • Students over 18 years of age.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident
  • Enrolled undergraduates or recent college graduate (not yet enrolled in a graduate program.)
  • 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Preference is given to students with some computer programming classes or skills.
  • Students from a computational background with an interest in biomedical research or students with a life science background with a strong interest in computer science.
Requirements:
  • A personal statement that describes your educational and/or career goals and how participation in the program will further enhance those goals.
  • A current Curriculum Vitae or resume.
  • Official academic transcripts.
  • Contact information for two individuals for us to contact for letters of recommendation.
